Remnant Purified
Let's face it, it's hard being a teen. It's even harder being a Christian teen. (Whoever said it was easy had a mental impairment!)This blog is for encouragement in your walk with God. Weekly posts will include inspiring verses and real life subjects that you face everyday! (I'm a teenager too remember?) You can feel free to leave prayer requests or subjects you would like mentioned in one of the posts. Feel free to email me if you have in questions!

Stepping Up & Out
I would like to welcome you to the first post of The Remnant Purified! Thank you so much for visiting and I hope you come back! A few quick facts before I start with the post:
- I am Pentecostal! Meaning, there will be loads of mentions to the Holy Spirit in here (Maybe not in this specific blog but in the future you can bet on it) I'm sorry if this offends you but I have a fire inside of me and I'm not about to quench it!
- Most posts will be short and simple.
- This is for God. If you are not a Christian and want to become one than please let me know!! Also, please refrain from leaving comments that are not pleasant (You guys know what I mean!!)
Micah 5:7
"Then the few left in Israel will go out among the nations. They will be like dew sent by the Lord or rain falling on the grass, which no one can hold back."
Have you ever had one of those moments when you just open your Bible up to a random page and ask God to show you something that will blow your mind? Well, if you haven't you need to try it! This is one of my most frequent methods of reading the BibleJ and this verse is what God gave to me.
Normally I wouldn't even fathom reading something from Micah. In fact, today is the first time I have ever read from it, but in order for God to blow your mind he has to take you places you've never been before!
This verse is what inspired me to create this blog. (In fact the heading over Micah 5:7 was 'Remnant Purified)
When I read this verse I immediately thought of this generation and how we have been exiled just like Israel had (We might as well admit it), there are very few of us who have remained in our walk with God. So just like the Israelites in this verse we need to go out among the nations. Now, maybe we won't be literally going out all over the world but what can you do in your community? Whose life can you change?
This verse says that the remnants of Israel were like 'a rain falling that could not be held back.' So I conclude that when we step out in Jesus' name, we will set forth a fire that nothing can stop!
Getting to the Point: When you step up and out for Christ you will be unstoppable and you will make a change!
Prayer: Lord, I pray Micah 5:7 over every person who reads this! Let each and every one of them be filled with your spirit so that when they stand up in your name they create a whirlwind fire that cannot be put out! In Jesus name I pray, Amen & Amen!
